Access to Bhutan: by Druk Air, Paro.
The common arriving and departing point by air is Paro. The National Airline, Druk Air operates international Flights to Bangkok, Katmandu, Dhaka, Delhi, Rangoon and Calcutta. (See Druk Air Flight Schedule/Information)

By Land from Calcutta.
Other entry to Bhutan is by land from Calcutta and Siliguri in India and Katmandu in Nepal via Phuntsholing, the commercial center in south sharing border with Indian state of Bengal.

Paro
The western Part of Bhutan, the place where it is the common arriving and departing point by Druk Air.

A Route to Thimphu
The route to Thimphu leads through valleys, rivers and ridges of 65kms from Paro approximately 2 hours drive by bus.

The capital of Bhutan lies in the valley of 65kms from Paro.

Wangdiphodrang
It is in the east & 70kms drive from the capital. The route passes across Dochula pass situated &&&m from the sea level & winds downwards till reaches in the Valley of Wangdi.

Punakha
Punakha is 77kms drive from the capital. It is the winter place for the monastic body.

It is 77Km, from Mongar (3 hours’s drive) and is one of the most isolated district in Bhutan.

Trashigang
Trashigang lies in the far east of Bhutan and is the country’s largest district. Trashigang town, on the hillside above the Gamri Chu (River), was once the center for a busy trade with Tibet.

Tashiyangtse
Situated in a small river valley, it is a lovely spot from which to take walks in the surrounding countryside, the dzong overlooking the town.

Samdrup Jongkhar
Samdrup Jongkhar is a convenient exit town for tourists who arranged to visit the neighboring Indian state of Assam.
