Bagdogra/Siliguri Phuntsholing Bhutan.
Day1.Our Bhutan Men-Lha Adventures and Travelers
Representative will meet you on arrival at either
Siliguri or Bagdogra Airport on the Indian State of
West Bengal. After a drive of about three hours
along a road lined with lush green tea gardens you
will reach Phunthosling, the gateway to Bhutan,
which lies directly at the base of the Himalayan
foothills. This rapidly growing town is Bhutanese
Commercial center, with most commercial organization
headquarter here. Dinner and over night at the Hotel
in Phuntsholing.
Phuntsholing Thimphu.
Day2. Proceed to Thimphu, making our first stop at
about 5km. up the road to visit Kharbandi Monastery.
This is most beautiful Monastery situated in a
garden of Tropical plants and flowers, was built by
Royal Grandmother, Ashi Phuntshok Shoedron in 1967.
There is a splendid view of Phuntsholing and the
Indian plains from the monastery garden. From the
point road climbs steep up into the hill, winding in
innumerable bends, to an altitude of approximately
2,000m/6,560ft. Lunch en route and continue drive to
Thimphu the capital City of Bhutan. O/N hotel in

Thimphu Sightseeing:
Day3. Morning after your breakfast walk to the
Memorial Chorten, visit Chorten built in the memory
of 3rd King. Continue your tour to Textile Museum,
Folk Heritage Museum, Painting School and Indigenous
Hospital. Evening Leisure and O/N hotel in Thimphu.
Thimphu Punakha
Day4. Drive to Punakha, if the day is clear you will
see the snow capped eastern Himalayan peaks. Start
walking on the Motor road taking a time to witness
different type of birds and vegetation. This is a
very good place for bird watching and it is also
famous place for the Orchid.

Punakha Sightseeing
Day5. Mornings after your breakfast walk to the
north direction and visit Punakha Dzong built in
1637. A former capital, this dzong is built in
between two rivers. It was seriously damage by the
flood in 1995. After lunch drive back and hike to
Chimi Lhakhang, built on the lock hill in 15th
century.

Punakha Trongsa
Day6. Drive to Trongsa, en route witness birds and
make a short walk. Lunch and continue drive to
Trongsa O/N hotel in Trongsa.
Trongsa Bird watching Day.
Day7. Morning after your breakfast drive to Kuenga
Rabten village witness different species of birds
and visit the village and the Palace used by the
second kind of Bhutan. Evening drive back to Trongsa
and O/N in Trongsa.
Trongsa Bumthang.
Day8. Morning drive to Bumthang across Yotongla Pass
at (3,400m). En route witness birds and country
walking from Chummi valley to Chamkhar Valley. O/N
hotel in Bumthang.
Bumthang Sightseeing.
Day9. Morning walk to Jambay Lhakhang and visit the
Monastery, continue your walk to Kurjey and visit
the Monastery. Hot lunch en route and cross the
suspension bridge and walk on the other side of the
Chamkhar River and visit Tamzhing Monastery. Evening
Leisure time and O/N hotel in Bumthang.
Bumthang Punakha
Day10. Morning after your breakfast drive to Punakha
with lunch en route. Visit Punakha Dzong in the
evening and O/N hotel in Punakha.
Punakha - Paro
Day11. Morning drive to Paro via Thimphu. Visit
Kyichu Lhakhang and Paro Dzong, National Museum. O/N
hotel in Paro.
Paro Sightseeing.
Day12. One full day Taktshang Monastery Hike, this
is one of the most scared religious sites in the
country. This monastery is built on the cliff above
the paro valley with (700m). This site is founded by
the Precious master in the 8th century and built in
1692. later in 1998 it was seriously damage by the
fire and renovated. It is 5hour hike. You can also
spend one whole day visiting near by monastery in
this area.

Paro Depart
Day13. Early breakfast drive to Paro Airport for
your flight to onwards destination.
