Dhur Hot
Springs Trek 10days 9nights
This trek follows an old expedition route to Gangar
Punsum.
Season: The recommended seasons are March, April
and September to November.
Arrive Paro Thimphu.
Day1. Arrive at Paro air port and you will be met by
Bhutan Men-Lha Adventures and Travelers and take you
for the refreshment to town. Lunch in the town and
drive to Thimphu in the evening. O/N hotel in
Thimphu.
Thimphu Trongsa:
Day2. Morning after your breakfast drive to Trongsa
across Dochula Pass at (3,140m) and Pelela Pass
at(3,300m). En route lunch in Wangduephodrang and
continue the drive to Trongsa. O/N hotel in Trongsa
Trongsa Bumthang.
Day3. Morning visit Trongsa Dzong and the
watchtower, that is converted into Museum. Continue
your drive to Bumthang, Lunch in Bumthang and after
lunch visit Kurjey Monastery, Jambay Lhakhang and
Tamzhing Lhakhang. O/N hotel in Bumthang.
Bumthang Gorsum.
Day4. After breakfast drive to the starting point
for our trek, just beyond Kurjey Lhakhang. Our trail
runs upstream along the Chamkhar Chu (River) a river
known for its richness in trout fish. Camp at
(3,120m)
Walking distance: 18kms, 7hours.
Gorsum Lungsum.
Day5. Todays walk takes through dense forests of
spruce, hemlock, cypress, and Juniper and maple
tress. The trail is rather muddy and ascends
gradually to our campsite at (3,160m) O/N at camp.
Walking distance: 12kms, 5hours
Lung sum Tshochenchen
Day6. The path ascends gradually through dense
vegetation to Tshochenchen (3,400m) where we camp
overnight.
Walking distance: 15km, 7hours
Tshochenchen Dhurtshachu
Day7. We trek uphill from Tshochenchen to Juli-la
Pass (4,400m). On a clear day, there is a good view
of the surrounding mountains from here. After
crossing the pass, we walk downhill till reaching
our campsite at (3,300m). Mask deer, Himalayan Bears
and blue sheep may see en route. O/N at camp.
Walking distance: 17kms, 7hours.
Dhurtshachu Rest day.
Day8. After breakfast relax in the hot spring or
hike around the camp area.
Dhurtshachu Gorsum.
Day9. Another early start, as we walk right through
to Gorsum, the Path descends gradually through dense
forest, and may be rather muddy in places after
Lungsum. We camp over at Gorsum (3,120m).
Walking distance: 18km, 6hours.
Gorsum Dhur(Motor Road) Bumthang.
Day10. The trails follows the Cham khar chu (river)
descending gradually to Dhur village, where Bhutan
Men-Lha Adventures and Travelers Transport will meet
you and drive to our lodge in Bumthang. Leisure in
the afternoon. O/N hotel in Bumthang.
Walking distance: 9kms, 3hours.
Bumthang Punakha.
Day7. Morning after your breakfast drive to Punakha
with lunch en route. Visit Punakha Dzong in the
evening and O/N hotel in Punakha.
Punakha Paro
Day8. Morning drive to Paro via Thimphu. Visit
Kyichu Lhakhang and Paro Dzong, National Museum. O/N
hotel in Paro.
Paro Hike to Taktshang Monastery Hike
Day9. One full day Taktshang Monastery Hike, this is
one of the most scared religious site in the
country. This monastery is built on the cliff above
the paro valley with (700m). This site is founded by
the Precious master in the 8th century and built in
1692. later in 1998 it was seriously damage by the
fire and renovated. It is 5hour hike. You can also
spend one whole day visiting near by monastery in
this area.

Paro Depart.
Day10. Early breakfast drive to Paro Airport for
your flight to onwards destination.

US$1620.00 for one person
Please note that surcharge
of US$30 per person per day for two people & US$40
for single visitor is excluded on the given Cost.
More than three people in a group will be as the
