give an indication of the standard to be expected in
each of the accommodations listed. Although the best
can not be compared with International Hotels, all
offers the necessary facilities and are properly
maintained. Hotels in the town of more economically
developed western Bhutan (Thimphu, Paro, Punakha &
Phuntsholing), provides reasonably good
accommodations and cuisines, but as one ventures
further a field into the central and Eastern regions
the lodging becomes rudimentary.
