I think I am just getting in on time? Thank you so much for your help. It’s good to be in contact again.
So, the restaurant where Mr and Mrs Karma Tobden had a cultural show that night too. We ate the feast of home cooked Bhutanese dishes and then went next door to another room and there was a cultural show, complete with arra and the barly wine, two kinds of wine, one in bambo and one in weaved bamboo basket…. Also, lotus flower cookies were served. Then there was an old man who played the Lute and an elderly lady who had sang to two Kings. I can remember her name. Then after all that, we went to the night club where you use to go as a teenager, then we got bored of that and we went back to the place where the cultural show was and they had turned it into a pumping disco with a dj from India. We were dancing like crazy! Minami was well drunk..
Thanks Tashi for making our trip memorable and wonderful, we will never forget in our life.
How are Dorje Wanckuk and Jigme Dorje? Lottey? Will Wanchuk walk the Snowmans Trek again this year? I would LOVE to do it again. LOVE to!
